Om Sai Ram to all. I am a senior citizen 60 years of age and live in Mumbai. I have been following this blog/site keenly for a long time (about 6-7 years) and congratulate the admins of this site for the wonderful work they have and are doing. My pranam to them. For the past 4 decades, I have been a Sai devotee. For a long time, I had been wanting to share many experiences that I have had over the years but for some or the other reasons, I could not. I have now decided to share some of my experience in the next few days. I hope they are liked by the Sai Devotees reading them.
Since 1995 every year twice, once in March and once in December, I along with my family consisting of my wife and two daughters would drive down to Titwala Ganesh temple for darshan and from there to Shirdi. Like earlier times, in the month of Dec 2000, we were on the trip to Titwala and Shirdi in our car. We had a Fiat Uno which was launched in India in late 1999 and as such had not much service/repair centers across the country and especially on the highways.
Anyway, after taking darshan of Lord Ganesha at Titwala, we started for Shirdi. Before Kasara Ghats, the clutch of the car stopped functioning and as a result, I could not change gears. Somehow I managed to locate a street side car mechanic. Though he was not much familiar with the car some way or the other he fixed the clutch and told me that I could drive the car and soon as I reach Nasik, I should go to the Fiat Service center there and get the parts to replace. He was confident that nothing would go wrong and I can safely drive the car. After paying and thanking him, I started on my further journey along with mu two daughters and wife. I drove through some distance and then drove through the Kasara ghats and Igatpuri town without any problem. After driving about 15-20 Km and some 50 Km from Nasik, the clutch failed again. The car was in 5th Gear at the time and there was no way I could change the gear. It was around 11.30 Am. The climate was not pleasant. The highway was deserted. At that time there was no hotel or lodge on the highway nor I could see any garage or help center. With two children and a lady, I could not afford to take risk of halting on the deserted highway for help. I was scared and did not know what to do in the situation? All this time I was driving the car at speed of 50Kms and behind a truck knowing fully well that this was utterly dangerous and can lead to a fatal accident with a vehicle in front of a vehicle coming from the opposite side. My little daughters (10 and 6 years) were crying with fear and my wife was paranoid.

This made me more scared. As I could not stop for various reasons, I decided to drive as far as I can and try to maintain the speed. At that point, I earnestly prayed in my mind to Sai for help and for ensuring that we reach Nasik safely. All through the drive, I kept chanting Om Sai Ram. I told my wife to pray too. We crossed the distance of about 35 km without any incident. In another 5 km, Nasik Check post was to come and I was very worried that if I had to stop then stopping the car would be a big problem, which I would not like. Apart from this how would I maneuver the car in the traffic after the check post? These thoughts worried me, but chanting Sai Ram I continued to drive. Before I realized, we had crossed the check post without having to stop and next 5-6 minutes we came near to the hotel Taj on the highway. As there was no vehicle or obstruction in front or back of us I reduced the speed considerably. As the car was in 5th Gear it came to an abrupt halt with a jerk. We were relieved to see each other safe and unhurt. Immediately I switched the ignition off. We all came out of the car. We were safe. We reached Nasik safely. It was a sheer miracle. All through the 45 Kms of the drive baba was with us, guiding, protecting, and helping us. He kept us safe. Listening to our prayers our baba came and helped us and kept us safe.

Another Devotee Experience of how baba saved us
Hi all, I would like to share my experience with you. I and my husband both are Sai Baba’s devotees. I wanted to work abroad and had tried two years ago but in vain. I prayed to Sai for my job. I used to visit a nearby Sai temple, where they arranged for Satcharitham reading in front of the Lord. I gave my name and went for reading. Then inspired by this, I wanted to read Satcharitham in Saptaham(7 days). I read Sai Satcharitham in my home in front of Sai’s photo, placing Agarbathi and with full devotion. On the third day of reading, I got a job offer from Qatar. I was immensely happy and grateful for my Sai had heard my prayer. Also, I had one more experience in that temple. While praying in front of my Baba, I was asking if I would ever get a chance to work abroad. To my surprise, at the same time, I could hear a flight sound right above my head. I told this to my husband, he didn’t believe first but later he also realized that was my Lord’s signal. From then on, I read at least a single page of Satcharitham daily. Jai sai Ram.
